The service

OpeningSignal monitors selected public records and provides ranked opportunities that may be relevant to local service businesses. Reports may include public-record facts, links to original sources, and OpeningSignal’s own relevance inferences.

No guarantee of work

An opportunity is not a guarantee that a project needs cleaning services, that a contract is available, or that any organization will respond. Customers are responsible for verifying facts, timing, contact information, procurement rules, and service fit before outreach.

Source limitations

Public records may be incomplete, inaccurate, changed, or delayed. OpeningSignal is not a government service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any municipality. Original data providers may disclaim warranties regarding completeness, accuracy, quality, and timeliness.

Acceptable use

You may use reports for lawful business development. You may not use them for harassment, deception, unlawful discrimination, privacy invasion, prohibited automated messaging, or any activity that violates applicable law or a source website’s terms.

Proof Pack fees, guarantee, and replacements

The $49 Proof Pack is a one-time purchase for three customer-ready opportunities. Service area, work type, minimum account size, exclusions, delivery timing, and replacement criteria are confirmed before payment. It does not renew automatically. Stale, duplicate, unreachable, or written-criteria-miss opportunities are replaced without consuming a paid slot.

100% money-back guarantee

A customer's first Proof Pack for a business includes a 100% money-back guarantee. If the customer does not like the delivered pack for any reason, the customer may request a refund by emailing hello@getopeningsignal.com within seven calendar days after delivery. OpeningSignal will refund the full purchase price; the customer does not have to prove that an opportunity was defective.

The guarantee is limited to one guaranteed first purchase per business and its connected owners, operators, or purchasing entities. It cannot be renewed by placing another order under an alternate name, email address, company spelling, domain, processor account, or payment method. A linked repeat order may be reviewed before checkout or delivery and may be sold without a new-customer guarantee if that limitation is disclosed before payment. This boundary addresses repeat guarantee abuse; it does not reduce the refund right for a legitimate first purchase.

A refund request and an active payment dispute for the same charge are coordinated through the payment processor to prevent duplicate reimbursement. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

Intellectual property

Original public records remain subject to their source terms. OpeningSignal’s report structure, ranking logic, commentary, and branding may not be republished or resold as a competing dataset without permission.

Limitation

To the extent permitted by law, OpeningSignal is not responsible for indirect losses, missed opportunities, outreach outcomes, or business decisions based on a report. The customer remains responsible for independent verification.
